Hi,

I’m Rebecca

I was born and raised in South East London and love to make the most of what this city has to offer from seeing a West End show to trying out fancy restaurants. I also have a passion for nature which took me to Kent (aka the garden of England) where I studied and attained a Bachelor of Science degree with honours at the University of Kent, Canterbury.

I’m an obsessive learner both academically and for personal development so I’m often found with my head in a book or in the midst of an online course. A favourite certification of mine being ‘Corporate Sustainability, Social Innovation and Ethics’ from Imperial College Business School. I also had the incredible experience of conducting my uni dissertation research in South Africa and was fortunate to visit a couple more times on a voluntary basis.

Being a passionate creative with an entrepreneurial spirit, my professional experience has been pretty varied!

My working life began in the events industry where I assisted with management at iconic attractions such as the Chelsea Flower Show, Wireless Music Festival, Wimbledon and the BBC Good Food Show to name but a few. Despite the long hours, I had such a fun time meeting and working with so many different people.

Whilst working at trade shows and meeting and talking to business owners, I often thought ‘perhaps I could be there exhibiting my own work’. It was then I was inspired to make it happen and start my own venture.

My knack of understanding people and being able to capture the meaning a client wants to express lent itself perfectly to design work and ‘Rebecca Leah Designs’ was formed. I achieved some pretty cool things from creating the mural for Fearne Cottons Happy Place event to exhibiting at national shows and completing bespoke commissions for domestic and global clients.

Having created my own brand, built websites and managed all the marketing, I found that I enjoyed delving into those aspects more and more.

This led me to put my digital skills to further good use working for a social enterprise and it was here that I met many people that would go on to be wonderful supporters of RebL Digital. From my previous years as a sole trader, I get what it’s like having so many plates spinning and the importance of relationships to help you succeed. So RebL Digital is here to showcase all that great work you do, with a strong website and blog, all the while providing a personalised service.

My hope with this business is to do what I love for purpose-led organisations and individuals with like-minded values - honesty and integrity being top of the list.
